What information do I need for a quote?

Please email any 2D or 3D CAD data available, along with quantity required, time scale & materials (if known). Our technical team can assist in product design, process suitability & choice of plastics.

What if CAD data is not available?

Should CAD data be unavailable, we will require a sample part or drawing of the component. Where necessary, we can advise product design and polymer selection. Our technical team can provide a consultancy service at your request.

What type of secondary or assembly options do you perform?

AMS is your one-stop shop plastic injection moulder. We provide a turnkey manufacturing solution with automated or manual assembly, packaging and cleaning. In addition, we partner with other local companies who perform additional services such as printing or plating which you may require to bring your product to market quickly and efficiently.

Can AMS run an existing tool?/ Can I send my existing injection mould to AMS?

Yes. AMS engineers will help facilitate the move of the mould from its current location, qualify the mould and can make repairs at our sister company, ADM Precision Tools Ltd, to help ensure you achieve the quality standards you anticipate.

What design software do you use?

Our design team are able to use CAD-CAM software including Solidworks, Catia, AutoCAD, MasterCAM, and Unigraphics.

Prototyping  –  we use SLS and SLA machines to sculpt models that look and feel like the real thing.

What materials can you work with?

We work with a wide variety of materials, a base list would be the following:

Acetal, Ionomers, Polypropylene (Homopolymer and Copolymer), L.L.D.P, Acrylic, P.E.T (Rynite), Stryene: High and Medium Impact, P.P.O, A.B.S, Nylon 6, Low Density Polyethylene, P.V.C, A.S.A, Nylon 66, High Density Polyethylene, S.A.N, Acxetate (C.A.B), Thermoplastic Resin (T.P.R), Thermoplastic Rubber, T.P.X, E.V.A, Polycarbonate, Polyurethane.
